No other exhibition in Dortmund has country statistics that span the entire globe like InterTabac. Exhibitors from 50
countries are expected to take part in the trade fair. The share of foreign exhibitors is a remarkable 64 percent. For InterSupply, this is even 76 percent.

More than 500 exhibitors altogether will likely attend both fairs. Last year, 11,700 trade visitors came to the fairs. Arrangements are being made that will ensure guests can easily access “their” fairs again this year.

Future project
Westfalenhallen Dortmund are currently getting the exhibition and event venue ready for the future. Under the title Welcome2018, a new entrance portal is being built for the exhibition centre that will provide modern, light-flooded access to the halls. The entire north side of Westfalenhallen will receive a newly designed and expanded visitor passage, and the grounds in front of the exhibition centre will be transformed.

Work has begun. The goal is to keep exhibition/event business and the construction work as separate as possible, so that neither will disturb the other. Temporary entrances have been set up for visitors. It’s easy for visitors to find their way around. If they head to the entrances they have “always” used, they are redirected from there. No major detours.

Visitors can access InterTabac and InterSupply via four entrances. An additional entrance has been set up in hall 2 especially for the trade fairs.
