Dortmund (AWe) – The internationalisation of the InterTabac trade fair (Dortmund, 21 to 23 September 2018) is progressing further. After the percentage of foreign trade visitors in the previous year was already 41 per cent and the guests at the flagship trade fair came from 64 countries, there will now be a special focus on Spanish-language visitors in 2018. A Spanish website was created for the first time for the world’s largest trade fair for tobacco products and smoking accessories (www.intertabac.es). The Spanish website of the trade fair allows trade visitors – just like its English and French counterparts – to get diverse information, for example, on the range of exhibitors, the hall allocation and how to get to the trade fair – and of course to buy tickets. The additional website supplements the service offer for international trade visitors to InterTabac. Such service offer includes, for example, an online help for applying for a visa to attend the trade fair and information desks at certain international airports in North Rhine Westphalia during the trade fair days.
Last year, 12,500 trade visitors and 560 exhibitors were guests at the trade fair. Access is restricted to industry representatives over 18 years of age.
