Exhibitors from around the world offer trade visitors a large product range again in 2018 Dortmund (ESa) – Co-located with InterTabac, the worldwide flagship trade fair for tobacco products and smoking accessories, InterSupply, the trade fair for the production of tobacco goods, will take place for the fourth time at the Dortmund Exhibition Centre from 21 to 23
Although the exhibitor booking process is still on-going, it is already clear:
The global players of the industry who cover the entire process chain of tobacco goods production will exhibit again in 2018. A special highlight this year will be the large number of exhibitors offering high-quality, innovative and efficient processing and logistic equipment for tobacco.
A wide range of interesting and new contacts for the main topics of raw tobacco, flavours, additives and essences, cigarette paper, packaging and automated production machinery and software await the trade visitors from the tobacco goods production segment, such as professional buyers, production managers, engineers and developers, again at this year’s InterSupply.
A large number of international suppliers of machinery for raw tobacco processing and tobacco goods production have booked a stand this year, for example TOMRA Sorting from Belgium and Fly Mak from Turkey. KÖHL Maschinenbau AG, a company from Luxemburg selling customised integrated solutions, including layout, machinery design, manufacture and assembly, will exhibit for the first time this year. Its product range includes filling and mixing units, ripping and separating machines, equipment for the traceability of tobacco products, and flavouring and casing cylinders for safe application and reproducible taste experiences.
InterSupply visitors can also get in touch with international packaging experts. Besides companies already known from previous years, such as DELFIN from Italy, SidSam Formilan Machines Pvt from India and Karley Germany, Messe Dortmund GmbH has managed to convince the packaging specialist GIMA TT S.p.A. Tobacco Technologies Smart Packaging Solutions from Italy to exhibit at InterSupply 2018.
The company develops, produces and sells all sorts of tobacco packaging machines, for example for cigarette packaging, and complete assembly lines for e-cigarettes and liquid processing and filling machines. Besides processing and logistic equipment for tobacco, the trade fair also covers all process stages and supplier products for tobacco goods production. Companies like Deutsche Benkert or BMJ from Indonesia will be contacts for cigarette filter paper. The main topic of raw tobacco will be covered by companies like Alliance One International from Great Britain, Universal Leaf Tobacco Company from the United States of America or – for the first time – by Nicos Gleoudis Kavex from Greece. And trade visitors, who are looking for experts in flavours and essences, will find them on the stands of German companies like Aerochemica Dr. Deppe or Hertz & Selck.
The co-located InterTabac trade fair will occupy halls 1, 2, 2N, 3A, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 this year. InterSupply in Hall 3B will therefore be surrounded again in 2018 by the worldwide largest trade fair for tobacco products and smoking accessories and be located in a central position. That will ensure an optimum and comprehensive exchange of information on ‘tobacco’ among the trade visitors.
