InterTabac Will Occupy the Westfalenhalle Arena for the First Time in 2018

Next Generation Products will then be exhibited in three exhibition halls.

Dortmund (AWe) – InterTabac is the worldwide largest trade fair for tobacco products and smoking accessories. Together with the InterSupply trade fair, it forms the strongest trade fair pair of the international tobacco world and transforms Dortmund to the hotspot of the entire industry. And that once again from 21 -23 September 2018. It is where the tobacco industry meets its top decision-makers and buyers for an international exchange of information. This year, even the Westfalenhalle Arena will be included in the flagship trade fair.

Next Generation Products (NGPs) – e-cigarettes and liquids for example – are increasingly becoming a main area of interest in the industry. InterTabac, the worldwide flagship trade fair, has addressed and promoted this market development by offering the suppliers an ideal platform. The topic has been given even more exhibition halls in 2018: three adjoining halls literally give the market trend much space for development.

The legendary Westfalenhalle Arena has been integrated into the trade fair for the first time and will be used exclusively for the NGP topic segment. The imposing hall offers adequate space for impressive company presentations and exhibition stands – the hall height of 29 metres allows any type of stand construction. The Arena use will also benefit from an inviting catering offer. The directly adjoining halls 2 and 3A make the Business Platform for NGPs overall even bigger and more attractive.

The ideally situated entrance of the Westfalenhalle Arena ensures that the trade visitors can directly access the topic area. They can of course also still access the NGP halls from the other halls. In 2018, InterTabac and InterSupply together occupy halls 2 to 8, in addition to the Westfalenhalle Arena.

The products of the exhibitors in halls 4 to 8 cover fine cigars and cigarillos, pipes and tobacco, cigarettes, cigarette paper and smoking accessories. Shop furniture, cash registers and supplementary products/services give the retail trade new ideas for their retail business. In hall 3B, the InterSupply topics will again cover the production of tobacco goods and complete the comprehensive industry platform.

560 exhibitors presented product innovations and trends to 12,500 trade visitors from 64 countries last year from 22 to 24 September 2017. The trade fair in 2018 is expected to be just as big.
