West Chazy, NY – The New York State Vapor Association (NYSVA.org) will present the first-ever business to business conference for the vaping industry in New York State, “NYSVA’s Inaugural Industry Conference,” Thursday, October 26 -Friday October 27, 2017, at the Maplewood Suites, Liverpool, NY, just outside of Syracuse.
The program will feature high-level business information contributed by industry experts. NYSVA announces that speakers who are specialists in regulatory, legal and business issues for the vapor industry. Speakers include: Jeff Weiss, General Counsel and EVP of Government Affairs at NJoy; Bill Godshall, Founder/Executive Director of Smokefree PA; Nicolas John, Northeast Region Manager for the R Street Institute; Gregory Conley, President/Founder, American Vaping Association (AVA); Alex Clark, Executive Director, Consumer Advocates for Smoke-free Alternatives Association (CASAA); Michael Frennier, President, NYSVA and General Manager, Unique e-Cigs; Andrew Osborne, NYSVA Vice President, Former Import/Export Broker; Mary Bielaska, Esq., Zanicorn International, Ltd. (NYSVA Legal Counsel). More speakers are to be announced.
Thursday evening’s B-to-B Networking Event will give attendees an opportunity to network with other business leaders and establish connections within the industry in NY State. Hors d’oeuvres will be served.
Friday will feature a full day conference dedicated to assisting business owners prepare for the future. NYSVA has put together an important program that will feature the FDA’s next requirements, the coming New York State regulatory battles, and local municipality issues such as the county Tobacco 21 movement and next steps for New York City. In addition, the speakers will provide tips on running retail and manufacturing vapor businesses from industry professionals who are authorities in their various fields. More speakers will be announced as confirmed. Lunch and dinner will be served.
After the conference on Friday evening, guests can relax and enjoy each other’s company at the hotel bar. On Saturday, guests can enjoy the various seasonal enjoyments of the area- from leaf peaking to pumpkin picking or wine tasting at nearby vineyards.
Seating is limited and attendees are encouraged to book as soon as possible. The conference will take place at the Maplewood Suites where the NYSVA has secured discounted room rates. Registrants are asked to book rooms through the NYSVA event registration page no later than October 20th.
