Dortmund (AWe) – InterTabac, the world’s biggest trade fair for tobacco products and smoking accessories, will be presenting itself this year again at Messe Westfalenhallen Dortmund from 16 to 18 September as the leading fair in the sector. InterSupply, the trade fair for the production of tobacco goods, will again be co-located with InterTabac. Both fairs reflect a subject that has brought entirely new products to the sector in recent years: the e-cigarette.
Around 60 exhibitors at InterTabac have e-cigarettes in their programme, either exclusively or as supplementary products. About just as many offer liquids for e-cigarettes. The exhibitors for this subject area come from a total of 14 countries, e.g. from China, France, Italy, Indonesia, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, the Czech Republic, and the USA. Renowned companies such as Posh, red kiwi, XEO International, German Flavours, Avoria, and UTVG are taking part. This gives visitors to the trade fair a comprehensive look at the market for e-cigarettes.
“In the past six years, InterTabac has become one of the most important international fairs for the e-cigarette industry,” says Philip Drögemüller, press spokesman for the e-cigarette trade association, VdeH.
“All major suppliers of equipment and liquids are represented in Dortmund. In this regulation year, we are also anticipating a fair at which exhibitors present innovative and safe products that fulfil the increased demands of 15 million ecigarette users in Europe.”
InterTabac will again be held in halls 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. The trade fair InterSupply is taking place in hall 3B. Once again, around 550 exhibitors will be presenting their products at both fairs.
InterSupply covers the whole process chain for the manufacture of tobacco products. From raw materials like tobacco, flavours, paper, and essences, to automated production methods for tobacco goods, water pipes, and e-cigarettes, along with machines for production and processing, to packaging and packaging machines – numerous international companies present themselves here.
At InterSpply, Hertz Flavors (Germany) is just one company that will be representing e-cigarette flavours. Erkol Fill GmbH and Aerochemica Dr. Deppe bottle liquids for e-cigarettes. Shenzhen First Union and Feellife Bioscience from China bottle their own brands and, as manufacturers, have their own laboratories. Pont Packaging from Germany produces packaging and glass containers. These examples of exhibitors show the wide range that the subject of e-cigarettes covers at InterSupply as well.
As always, only trade visitors are admitted to both fairs. Tickets can be purchased conveniently in advance on the fair websites and printed directly (www.intertabac.com / www.intersupply.com).
